The Christmas spirit is alive and well in the music business this year, with more than twenty new releases in the Christian market—some of them late arrivals from 2006, but we haven't even included everything that's available for 2007. The phrase "something for everyone" has never been more applicable: pop, rock, classical, gospel, country, jazz, and however you want to define Mannheim Steamroller as. It's been a while since we've seen so many big names release Christmas projects within the last year, some releasing albums of all-new material, some releasing collections of old-favorites, and some simply releasing short EPs. It's an amazing testament to the many different styles with which we can celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and the profound impact God's gift of love has had on the world.

Resurrection Life Church is a contemporary church with a contemporary sound. The music style that's represented in this ‘live’ worship recording is high energy praise and worship. Some of My Review

Ill start off by simply saying that this album just blew me away! It is probably their heaviest album yet (even moreso than their first self-titled album) as they really rock out pretty much throughout the entire album. "Shut Me Out," "Hearts of the Innocent," "Beyond the Surface," and "Million Dollar Man" are just a few of them. There are some great "slower", but still awesome, ones on here in "Smile" and "Promise of a Lifetime" as well.

The powerful guitar riffs are fresh (there are even a few solos on this one), and Jeff and Daves added drums and bass are really great. Also, Jon Micahs vocals are just about perfect (as they always have been) and they blend seamlessly with the music.

Lyrically, the album is spectacular. The words are really deep and really penetrated my heart. They talk about subjects such as the tragedy children endure in divorce, perseverance in spreading the truth of Christ even when people put you down, and keeping our hope in Christs promise, just to name a few.

"Hearts of the Innocent" is probably Kutless best album yet. Im a huge Kutless fan, so I may be a little biased. But they seriously blew me away with this one! Check it out! If you like good hard rock music with an inpirational message, you wont be disappointed in the least...

White Christmas was written in 1937 by the great songwriter Irving Berlin, and achieved fame when it was performed by Bing Crosby in the 1942 movie, "Holiday Inn".

For many people, White Christmas evokes a wistful sense of nostalgia (as it did in the movie), family warmth and all the good memories associated with the holiday season.

The irony here is that the original version of White Christmas was, well, ironical. Before Berlin suppressed the opening verse, the song opened with a tongue in cheek lyric about celebrating Christmas on a 80 degree day at a chlorinated Los Angeles swimming pool!

But the movie placed the context for the song at a snowbound resort, and, quite wisely, the original verse was dropped. The song is just too good as it stands to burden it with irony.

White Christmas became the 'official' theme song of homesick World War II soldiers, and the rest is popular history. The song is now deeply embedded in our group consciousness.
